Where are you going?

When you travel away from home, family, friends and work colleagues generally like to to be kept informed of firstly your whereabouts and secondly what special sights you have seen.

Two alternative are to send e-mails or make telephone calls. Another is to send post cards from various destinations.

There are of course pros and cons for each of those alternatives.

E-mails are quick and easy for those with access to the internet, and even many “out of the way” places now have internet cafes that can be accessed. However, not all e-mail always go through to their intended recipients, and often even legitimate e-mails that do reach their destinations are erroneously deleted as spam.

Telephone calls are immediate, and are often appreciated by loved ones. But, these may be very expensive from some places.

Post Cards are great for showing the local views, but sometimes they also don’t get delivered, and if they are, sometimes the traveller will arrive home before the post card.

But we are now in the 21st Century, so lets use 21st century technology.

  1. What if you could send a postcard home from your holiday destination and have that postcard delivered to the recipient’s mail box just a couple of days after it was sent instead of a couple of weeks?
  2. What if instead of paying the international postage rate, you just paid the local postage rate back at home?
  3. What if a picture or pictures that you have taken with your own camera can be on that postcard, or those postcards that arrive home?

With 21st Century technology and Aussie Cards you can do all of the above.
